Faith Promise Missions

What is Faith Promise Giving?
Faith Promise is a call to give to the various missions that Waynesburg First UMC supports. It is a way of giving to local and international missions above and beyond regular tithes and offerings. Rather than waiting to respond to requests for financial support, followers of Christ are called to look to God in faith in order to discern how much He would have them give over the next year. They then commit to that total as a “Faith Promise,” trusting that their giving will be used for the advancement of the Kingdom. Faith Promise is a covenant between you and God, not you and the church. The church only helps channel the funds to the mission field.
