...for God to change lives through us

The United Methodist Women

Purpose: United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Vision: (inspired by 1 Thessalonians 1:4) Turning faith, hope and love into action on behalf of women, children and youth around the world.

Scope of Work: The work of the United Methodist Women is mission, carried out through a variety of channels. As United Methodist Women give voice to the unheard, raise up women leaders through education and leadership development and perform acts of service, they are engaged in mission.
